Privacy Policy

Trippi Arcade is a small set of browser games. It has no user accounts, no login, and no backend that stores your scores or progress. Most of what the site needs to function runs inside your own browser. This page describes what happens today and what is planned.

What the site does not do today

• No accounts or sign-up.
• No tracking cookies and no session cookies. Analytics runs without cookies (see below).
• No Google Analytics, Plausible, Meta Pixel, or other external analytics beacons.
• No advertising on the current landing or game pages.
• No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties.

What is stored in your browser

The games may write a small amount of data to your own device using standard browser APIs. None of it is sent to our servers.

• localStorage on trippi.app: an optional player display name, saved only if you enter one for a share link. Remove by clearing site data for trippi.app.
• Service worker cache: map tiles and game assets you have already loaded, kept so played routes can work offline. Cleared when you clear site data or uninstall the service worker.

Request logs on our servers

Like any web server, the hosts serving trippi.app and t.lnx.fi (the map tile service) keep short-lived access logs. These contain the request URL, timestamp, IP address, and user agent. They are used to operate the service (capacity planning, abuse mitigation, error debugging) and are not combined with any other data about you. Logs rotate on a short retention window.

External resources the page loads

• OpenStreetMap vector tiles via t.lnx.fi: our own tile server. Covered by the request logs section above.

The Manrope typeface is self-hosted on trippi.app, so no font request is sent to Google. No other external scripts are loaded on the landing page or on the game pages at this time.

Advertising (planned)

Google AdSense may be enabled on some parts of the site later, most likely on result screens and the landing page rather than inside the game itself. When that happens, the site will:

• Show a consent banner before any personalised advertising cookie is set, in line with the EU ePrivacy directive and GDPR.
• Default to non-personalised ads for visitors who do not consent, where that option is available from Google.
• Let you change or withdraw your consent at any time from a control in the footer.

Google AdSense, when enabled, may set its own cookies and collect device signals (approximate location from IP, browser, device type) to serve ads and measure performance. Google is an independent data controller for its AdSense cookies. See Google's ad privacy policies for the details.

Children

Trippi Arcade is safe to hand to a child. There are no in-game purchases, no account creation, and no messaging between players. The site does not knowingly collect any information from anyone. If Google AdSense is later enabled, its non-personalised mode will be used for traffic that appears to originate from a region with strict child-safety rules.

Changes

When this policy changes materially, the date at the top updates. Meaningful changes (for example, if personalised advertising is switched on) will be announced on the landing page for a reasonable period.
